2011 Specsavers everywoman in Retail Awards
Leader of the Year Category - in a business with a turnover under £200 million

On Wednesday 14 September 2011, in an Awards ceremony at The Savoy Hotel, London, our Founder Catherine Owens won this prestigious Award!

The other two shortlisted finalists were:
- Manager at Dorothy Perkins
- Manager Director of Crew Clothing.

The awards were established to help readdress the gender balance in management roles within retail by highlighting inspirational role models and their accomplishments. They draw attention to women in the industry who have shattered glass ceilings through hard work and determination to succeed.

Dame Mary Perkins, the Founder of Specsavers as well as Maxine Benson MBE and Karen Gill MBE the Everywoman Founders gave fabulous, insightful talks.

This particular category was sponsored by Sue Brownson OBE, the Group Managing Director of Blue Bell BMW Group.
