FITTINGS

Most shoes in larger sizes are made by 'sizing-up' a design that was made specifically for a size 4 foot (yes, very small). Layers are added continuously to the outside of the size 4 shoes and, as you can imagine, when you reach larger sizes this affects the shape and proportions of the shoes considerably - they tend to be ill-fitting, very wide, deep, high-heeled and unflattering.

We're very unique. We want you to feel fabulous and so, for our shoes, we’ve started from scratch, with a blank sheet of paper (and a block of wood and a file - literally!), and set about designing shoes that fit and flatter larger feet properly..... Don't just take our word for it - we'll let you decide for yourself.

Our shoes:

• Are in-proportion for larger-feet
• Have reinforced leather sides and a very slightly higher reach above the heel - so they support and stay on your feet without gaping (no toe-scrunching required)
• Have rounder rather than pointed toes and horizontal lines - so your feet even appear smaller
• Are made of high quality leathers and fabrics

WIDTHS

We've heard you! Most of our styles are now in two different widths:

• "ORIGINAL" width is our original width for NARROWER to AVERAGE width feet - Technically a B-fitting but, due to the way that they have been designed, they also fit brilliantly much narrower feet such as AAA and AA.


• "WIDER" width is our new width for AVERAGE TO SLIGHTLY WIDER (but not really wide) width feet - As so many of you have asked for wider fittings - Technically a C+ fitting.

LENGTHS

Our shoes are made to UK Standard Sizing measurements and we don't 'size-up' at all. As they are properly-fitting and it seems that most women are not used to wearing such shoes, we are finding that most women are their usual size or need one size up in our designs. There is no exact equivalent from UK to EUR / US sizing but here is a guide:
